Tallica — Extra Condensed Grotesque Variable Font
Tallica is an extra condensed grotesque typeface designed to steal the show. Its meticulously crafted, ultra-compressed letterforms command immediate attention, delivering maximum visual punch in narrow horizontal spaces.
Engineered for Readability & Versatility:
Often, ultra-condensed typefaces sacrifice legibility for visual impact. Tallica defies this convention. The design integrates functional ink-traps and carefully sculpted counters to maintain extreme clarity even at dense weights and rapid reading speeds.
- High x-Height & Tight Spacing: Delivers maximum typographic mass and clean rhythmic alignment across editorial and digital viewports.
- Variable Flexibility: Smooth, continuous interpolation between a delicate, architectural Thin and an authoritative, room-filling Bold, complete with matching dynamic Obliques.
- Space Optimization: The narrow footprint lets you set large display headlines without unwanted text wrapping, making it indispensable for tight packaging panels, magazine spines, and mobile screens.
Features & Specifications:
- Formats Included: Static OTF/TTF plus continuous Variable Font file
- Weight Range: Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold with matching Obliques
- Variable Axes: Weight (wght) and Italic / Oblique (ital)
- Glyph Count: 400 glyphs with comprehensive Latin and Central European support
- Optimized Rendering: Clean beziers built for high-DPI screens, large-format vinyl, and offset packaging
Recommended Applications:
- Packaging & Labels: Narrow cans, cosmetic bottles, apothecary boxes, and vertical labels
- Editorial & Publishing: High-impact magazine headlines, spine typography, and posters
- Logotypes & Wordmarks: Striking streetwear brands, event identities, and industrial logos
- Digital UI & Motion: Giant hero section titles, kinetic typographic banners, and video thumbnails
