Fosca — Bold Baroque Display Serif Font

Overview

Fosca — Bold Baroque Display Serif Font

Fosca is a bold baroque serif display typeface that fuses classical typographic grandeur with contemporary graphic drama. Inspired by the sculptural forms and bold brackets of historical Clarendon and 19th-century slab-serif ancestors, Fosca introduces deliberate exaggerated contrast to ensure maximum commanding presence.

Ornamental Rigor & Readability:

Fosca plays with deep, expressive strokes, balancing a sturdy upright skeleton with delicate, teardrop terminals and curved brackets:
* The Terminals: Designed as subtle ornamental signatures that bring charm and rhythm without disrupting viewing flow.
* Striking Headings: Calibrated specifically for large display sizes where its sharp contrast, deep ink transitions, and sculptural silhouettes dominate.
* Comprehensive OpenType Set: Richly equipped with stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures, old-style proportional numbers, and custom decorative symbols.
